For my blog response I read “(Un)Grading: It Can Be Done in College” by Laura Gibbs. I reread the article about two times to get all the information down before I started to write my response. I also looked through the calendar page to see what else I had to do, and I found that I had to take a quiz. Unfortunately, I believe I used the wrong article for my blog response since I assumed that everybody else was responding to the articles we read on Thursday but were responding to articles on rhetoric, which was in the calendar. I should have paid better attention to the calendar more broadly instead of focusing solely on doing the response.<span data-ccp-props=”{"201341983":0,"335559739":160,"335559740":259}”> </span>

Our work for the weekend was to write a response to the two articles on rhetoric, however as previously mentioned I responded to a different article instead. I wrote the response on and off; I tend to take breaks while I am writing, since it bores me. However, I did have a specific idea of want I wanted to write right off the bat, which rarely happens with me. I had to cut out some ideas since it would make the response too long. Overall, my attention wavered between work and other things, but the response was easy to write.<span data-ccp-props=”{"201341983":0,"335559739":160,"335559740":259}”> </span>

I took a crash course in how to respond to articles in writing, especially its uses for better understanding the article and formulating my own ideas about it, which is a very useful skill in the real world for a variety of sources. I think my writing was decent, but I was reckless in regard to looking up more information on my assignment. I hope to receive feedback on my work and on my labor log.<span data-ccp-props=”{"201341983":0,"335559739":160,"335559740":259}”> </span>
