Some Stuff I Did
I was hard at work finding some legwarmers for my werewolf costume (I even have a mask whose mouth moves!). I spent hours looking for some furry bodysuits, shirts, pants, and legwarmers. I eventually brought some from Spirit Halloween.
The Reading
I read the first part of “When The First Voice You Hear Is Not Your Own” by Jacqueline Jones Royster and the content was very interesting. She was talking about how people outside her ethnicity (in this case African-American, a specific group of black people) often talk about their issues and inadvertently prevent her from speaking on the subject, even though it is about her. I feel that I can relate to this on a lot of levels. I did not finish the rest of the reading though.
The Reflection
There is not much I did this week besides go to school, do work and homework, and chill at home. I still need to try to get the writing homework in on time though, and I need to study for my math and anthropology exams.
