      <span style=”font-weight: 400;”>Before, rhetoric was believed to be a non-stimulant for conversation and debates. In actuality, it would draw attention to a point that was made. In addition, it was thought that using rhetoric in writing was also seen as deceptive, but really really it enhances and strengthens the person’s point. Not only has the meaning and use of rhetoric change throughout time, but the way we communicate and write have also been altered with the use of technology. Rhetoric has now become an important part of how we write our ideas and claims. In addition, it is utilized in how we analyze the text we read either online or on a piece of paper. Along with technological changes occurring, it requires us to be able to understand and pick out rhetorical use. Thus meaning changes in our understanding of writing including rhetoric would have to be taken. </span>
