As time has gone on the way we communicate has evolved, we have shifted from a society that perceived rhetoric as deviance to it now being taught as the way we should think. Rhetoric allows us to analyze arguments in three different categories such as Ethos, Pathos, and Logos. Ethos being credibility, Pathos ideas that appeal to emotions, and Logos enforced with a logical explanation. Another part of rhetoric is Kairos, Kairos are when we act or say things at the moment. This is usually used during elections because candidates are caught off guard with a question on a popular issue and in a nick of time have to choose whether or not to make a promise to the public, which can help gain or lose supporters. Teachers have used the advancement of technology to their advantage, by introducing rhetoric to this generation through digital images. They have set up the technology being used to mimic the idea of an average classroom learning environment. The way they design these websites are well thought out, Although digital the inclusion of simple navigational panels and color coordination are used to draw students in. Encouraging students to think both creatively and rhetorically about everything but at the same time not limiting them to the time and place of particular software programs. Within hybrid learning environments, they also make sure to include transparency. Transparency allows the audience to construct their own readings and playing with form. Which in the end teaches us to design our own technological platform that collaborates with these strategies but are more academic in nature. Overall research has hybrid courses allow students to think through the elements of design, causing them to be active producers of knowledge in their own discipline.
